Hello, my name is Natonia. I am a licensed clinical social worker, substance abuse professional, and professional coach. I have a masters degree in social work, which I obtained in 2004. I also hold a masters degree in business administration. I am licensed as a clinical social worker (LCSW) in the states of Florida and Georgia and have over 10 years of experience working as a therapist and life coach. I have a certification as a certified case manager and am a certified addiction professional in the state of Florida.

My experience includes working with adult clients from a variety of social, occupational, and multi-cultural backgrounds in a variety of settings, including individual and group sessions. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, substance abuse, trauma, and difficulties due to life changes. You may ask where does the masters in business administration come into the picture? Through professional coaching and my experience with owning and operating a business, I have helped clients develop focus and establish goals to increase career satisfaction, change career paths, and even develop plans to create their own business.

My counseling style is honest, open, and interactive. The environment that I strive to create for my clients includes treating them with empathy and respect to create an environment that is free of stigma and facilitates trust. My clinical approach offers my clients the option of working through their challenges and difficulties through cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and client centered therapy. I also use motivational interviewing and acceptance and commitment therapy to assist my clients in establishing goals that they want to achieve in treatment . My professional and business coaching approach includes being genuine, direct, and honest with my clients through consulting to provide an environment that is challenging, yet rewarding. Your counseling or coaching experience will be tailored to meet the specific needs that you have identified, including the focus and length of time that we spend together.

I want to commend you for taking the steps necessary to make changes to enhance your quality of life. It is my hope through our therapeutic alliance that you feel empowered, challenged, and supported through your journey. When you are ready, I am here to provide the support and encouragement you need to increase the personal fulfillment that you are seeking.

I look forward to working with you!
